We do not release limited data files or identifiable data files for teaching purposes or class projects.
However, the Department has an open data site called Health Data New York (HDNY). In 2014, when it launched, it was the first health data focused open data site in the country focused on health data. HDNY has posted over 600 datasets ranging in health topics from environmental health, to lists of facilities, providers, and services, to community health and chronic disease datasets, cost, quality, and vital records data. These datasets are free to use and can be included in course syllabi.
