SPARCS data leases end two years after the final calendar year of data has been received. This is outlined in the Data Retention and Application Expiration section of the manual. If more time is needed to complete the study, the retention period may be extended for up to one additional year upon request. Researchers should submit an extension application prior the lease expiration date.
