If you need to add or remove data users, submit a request through our SPARCS Support ticket system. Select either, “I would like to add new data user(s)” or, “I would like to remove a SPARCS data user from my project”, respectively.
Within the form, use the ‘Description’ box to list the users you would like to add or remove. There should be an accurate Project Director listed for all forms. If there is a change to your project’s Director, a new amendment must be submitted to reflect that change. To do this, submit a request and select, “I am submitting a request for an amendment to an existing SPARCS data lease”.
Users are only approved upon confirmation from the SPARCS program. You must await SPARCS approval before providing the user with internal access to your approved SPARCS data.
Note: Individuals who will have access to the raw dataset(s) or data output(s), that do not follow the small cell size policy, should be listed and sign Individual DUAs. This can include external research partners, contractors, and information technology (IT) staff. IT staff that maintain the technology environment, and are not direct data users, do not need to sign Individual DUAs.
